andrew

Cyclist: Andrew Turner

Hometown: Montreal, QC

Location spotted : Laurier and Jeanne Mance

Destination: Supermarché P.A., 05K

Cycling months: April-December

Current ride: Early 80’s Peugeot PB27 (speed monster)

Number bikes stolen: 5 1/2

Number of bike accidents: Nothing serious, but I once ended up on somebody’s hood.

When not cycling: Waiting tables

Favourite ride: Up over the mountain, through Westmount to NDG

Thoughts on biking and fashion: Go functional!

Interesting bike story: When I had one of those portable fold-up bikes, when I was riding, it broke in half. Then I locked it up at the corner of St. Laurent and Pine and the front half was stolen.

A creative photo and the story so typically Montreal. This would give non-Montrealers a wonderful and entertaining insight into our city, and locals a chance to reminisce about their shared bike experiences.
